S.S.H.E. 401 - BL - 1240 QUESTION DEADLINE 12/6/2021 12:00 PM Bloomsburg University of the PA State System of Higher Education invites Electrical Contractors, to download bid documents for this project. Work under this project includes the replacement of the following: main fire alarm control panel, all initiating devices, all notification devices and all interface modules. The fire phone jacks and associated headend equipment will also be replaced. In addition, the existing hearing-impaired rooms will be upgraded with new devices and devices will be added to create additional hearing-impaired rooms. The existing fire alarm wiring infrastructure will remain and be reused. Minor extensions to the wiring system will be made to accommodate the additional devices for the new hearing-impaired rooms as well as a few new initiating devices. Contract Cost Ranges: SSHE 401-BL-1240: $ 275,000 It is anticipated that the Notice to Proceed will be issued on or about April 22, 2022. Unless otherwise specified in the Notice to Proceed, on-site Work shall commence no earlier than, May 16, 2022. The Contractor shall prosecute the Work diligently and substantially complete the Work (Substantial Completion) not later than following dates; Substantial Completion: July 15, 2022 (including L&I Inspection and Occupancy Permit); Final Completion: July 29, 2022.
