CMC's Central Services located in Glenwood Springs, CO is requesting quotes from qualified firms and/or individuals for video conferencing and audio/video equipment and professional audio/video installation services. CMC is the recipient of a grant through the Response, Innovation, and Student Equity (RISE) Education Fund sponsored through federal Governor's Emergency Education Relief Funds. The purpose of this Fund is to provide resources to high-needs school districts, charter schools, and public institutions of higher education, to address the impacts of COVID-19 in a manner that creates lasting innovations, improved student learning, and enhanced operational efficiency for pre-K-12 and higher education. With these funds, CMC shall provide high schools throughout western Colorado, and their local higher education partners, with the resources and technology necessary to rebuild, dramatically grow, and sustainably scale concurrent enrollment opportunities in rural communities. Investments will be made in technology and a shared infrastructure between rural high schools and higher education partners that will dramatically increase equity and access to dual and concurrent enrollment. All work must be complete by July 31, 2022. Candidate classroom spaces and high-level designs are being negotiated with each high school. Consider a typical room as roughly 25' x 25' with a drop ceiling.
