Scope of Work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following: .1 Installation and maintenance of all necessary construction facilities, perimeter fencing, temporary barriers and enclosures and site signage as will be required to separate the area of Work from the existing school/daycare building and play yards. .2 Phasing of the work as required to maintain emergency exits and egress routes in accordance with the Owner's fire safety plan, fire department access to the satisfaction of the local fire department, bus access and staff parking and to allow for safe and continued occupancy of the building throughout the duration of the Work. .3 Removal and salvage of existing unit pavers for reinstallation as indicated on the drawings. .4 Removal and disposal of existing concrete curbs, asphalt and concrete walkways, gravel parking areas, asphalt laneway, sod, signage, and exterior lighting as required to perform new Work. .5 Removal and stockpiling of existing play yard organic materials in locations as indicated. .6 Excavations for new site work including placement and grading of all excavated soils on site in existing play yard as indicated. .7 Regrading of existing parking areas to accommodate new storm water management system and parking areas. .8 Site dewatering including comprehensive dewatering plan for consultant review. .9 Supply and installation of storm water management (SWM) system including related work at SWM system outlet. .10 Removal and replacement of an existing frost-susceptible catch basin structure with new catch basin c/w insulation and free draining compacted granular fill. .11 Concrete curbs and sidewalks, unit paver walkways and tactile warning surface indicators. .12 Asphalt parking areas, laneways, bus turn around and entries and fire truck access route c/w line painting. .13 Exterior lighting and signage. .14 Supply and installation of a new bus shelter structure c/w new concrete slab. Refer to Section 01 21 00 - Allowances. .15 Relocation of Owner's existing utility shed. .16 Spreading of stockpiled play yard organic materials, topsoil placement, sodding, hydraulic seeding and plantings work.
