Reference Number 0000213894 Source ID PU.DP.Que..8088.29965.C510952 Delivery Point Henry Larsen Building 5010 49th Ave. Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada Bid Intent Not Available Question Acceptance Deadline Dec 20, 2021 02:00 PM MST Questions are submitted online Yes The purpose of this project is to address the deteriorating roof system of the RCMP G Division, Henry Larson Building, by completing a roof replacement with enhanced insulation in order to meet or exceed National Energy Code of Canada for Buildings (NECB) as per the recommendation in the Carbon Neutral Study. The NECB prescriptive requirement for Yellowknife, NT (zone 8) for roof insulation is R40. The existing roof assembly should be replaced with a new roofing system by removing the thermal and moisture layers and replacing them with increased insulation (i.e. extruded polystyrene, polyisocyanurate or mineral wool insulation) including a new modified bitumen membrane. The scope also includes all related flashing, parapets, and possible structural work to allow for the future installation of solar photovoltaic panels. All individuals attending the site visit must bring their own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as: safety shoes/boots, hard hats. Individuals without the appropriate PPE will not be permitted to access the site.
