Scope: Accessibility improvements. As of June 2022, the project is in design. Contractor bidding is anticipated to take place in the fall and construction in December of 2022. *The previous solicitation is listed below for reference The City of Wharton is requesting Statement of Qualifications from firms for professional engineering services for the City of Wharton Safe and Accessible School Routes Project, CSJ #0913-09-116. The City is seeking to contract with a qualified engineer/engineering firm (registered to practice in the State of Texas) to prepare all preliminary and final design plans and specifications and to coordinate with the Texas Department of Transportation during the planning, design, surveying, and construction phases for the project. The City reserves the right to negotiate with any and all engineers or firms that submit proposals, per the Texas Professional Services Procurement Act and Office of Management and Budget Circular No. A-102. The City of Wharton is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer. The method of contractor selection has not determined at this time.
