Renovation of a water / sewer project in Harrison Valley, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
This contract generally consists of the installation of an ultraviolet disinfection system and modification to the existing chlorine disinfection tank and site piping. An alternate additive bid is also being solicited for the installation of a manual bar screen to serve as a formal headworks structure. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the maximum amount of the bid, as a guarantee that the bidder will execute the contract and furnish the necessary bonds if the contract is awarded to him/her. Harrison Township reserves the right to waive any irregularities, to reject any and all bids, and to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder. The probable cost for this project is: UV Disinfection: $73,000 - $84,000 Headworks Add Alternate: $48,000 - $55,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. A pre-bid conference will not be held.
