**As of January 07, 2022, the Notice of Award is scheduled for the upcoming OUA Board meeting on January 10. A notice to proceed date is anticipated in February, with an estimated construction duration of 13 months. The project consists of furnishing labor, equipment, and materialsfor the construction of a duplex Master Pump Station (MPS), as described in the Drawings and Specifications. The work generally includes, but is not limited to, constructing a new wet well; connecting new gravity piping for future connection; and equipping the MPS with two submersible pumps, pump bases, guide rails, float switches, riser pipes, and access hatches. Also, constructing above-grade piping with check valves, isolation valves, a bypass connection, a flow meter, and an air release valve. Furnishing and installing a new control panel with pump controls, including electrical, instrumentation, and communication with supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA). Furnishing and installing a new generator, fuel tank, and automatic transfer switch. The Work shall also include, but not be limited to, installing biofilter odor control units, providing site/civil improvements to a forested area, incorporating a new water service and electrical service, incorporating a travelling gate, and other civil, mechanical, structural, and electrical improvements as indicated by the Drawings and Specifications or as required to properly complete the project as planned. The Okeechobee Utility Authority reserves the right to waive informalities in the bid, reject all Proposals or any Proposal not conforming to the intent and purpose of the Contract Documents, and to postpone the award of the Contract for a period of time which, however, shall not extend beyond forty-five (45) calendar days from the bid opening date.
