Demolition, site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Orland Park, Illinois. Completed plans call for the demolition of a museum; for the renovation of a museum; for site work for a museum; retail development; retail development; and retail development.
As of November 6, 2023, per owner, a design team has been identified. A construction timeline has not been identified yet. The Village of Orland Park is requesting proposals from interested parties for architectural and engineering services to complete construction drawings and specifications for phased implementation of demolition and rehabilitation at two historic sites in the Village: Glenn B. Boley Farm and John Humphrey House. The two projects are not linked or interdependent, however the Village seeks to contract with the same qualified consultant to complete both projects. Schedules for the two autonomous projects- to be determined- may be concurrent. The selected consultant shall demonstrate an ability to complete the requirements of both projects simultaneously if dictated by the determined scheduling.
