New Fernway Park Elementary School Project Anticipated Start of Construction: Phase 1 - March 1, 2024 Phase 2 - June 15, 2025 F. Anticipated Substantial Completion date: Phase 1 - July 15, 2025 Phase 2 - October 30, 2025 G. Bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check or cash in an amount equal to 10 percent of the base bid amount shall be submitted with the bid. Should a bid bond be submitted, the bid bond shall be payable to the Board of Education, Kirby School District 140. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof, or waive any irregularities or informalities, and to make the award in the best interest of the District. K. All bidders must comply with applicable Illinois Law requiring the payment of prevailing wages by all Contractors working on public works.
