Saving Project...

Renovation of a municipal facility in Ewing, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Bidders must be classified by the Division under N.J.S.A. 52:35-1 et seq and must submit bid security as provided in Instructions to Bidders and General Conditions, Revised December 2015. No bidder may withdraw his bid for 60 calendar days after the opening. The State may reject any and all bids. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. The Objective of this Project is to renovate the existing paint room at the NJDOT Fernwood Complex Building No.21 to properly accommodate the space for proper working conditions of an additional Sign Printing Room and Storage Room. The new Printing Room and Storage Room renovation includes the removal of existing sliding doors and installation of new insulated doors with closer and lock hardware, filling of various openings with toothed-in concrete block to match existing, installation of metal furring, insulation, and gypsum board, the replacement of two aluminum frame insulated translucent fiberglass sandwich panel windows, removal of ACM containing floor materials and installation of VCT floor tiles and vinyl base throughout, and the installation of new split system HVAC unit and all associated ductwork. The construction duration for the Project is eighty (80) calendar days from the issuance of the NTP by the State
