Design and construction of a shared use trail at Harrison Park located at 5201 Harrison Park Road, Charles City, VA23030 The design and construction of a shared use trail at Harrison Park located at 5201 Harrison Park Road, Charles City 23030. The project is generally described as the design, construction and installation of a 10" wide shared use mixed medium path comprised of approximately 2,000 linear feet of 2" asphalt mix over 6" aggregate sub-base (Trail Section A) and approximately 1,000 linear feet of crushed stone (Trail Section B), approximately 200 linear feet of crushed stone path from perimeter to existing playground equipment, drainage improvements, landscaping, fence line clearing of invasives, tree removal and site amenities within the perimeter limits at Harrison Park. A portion of the project is funded by a grant, Get Outdoor Grant, awarded to Charles City County by the Virginia Outdoor Foundation. Project funding requires compliance with the Davis-Bacon Act and the successful Design-Builder must comply with the most recently prevailing wages issued by the DOL.
