The Scope of Work under this project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and appurtenances as necessary for the delivery and installation of the Talbot County Community Center ice plant replacement for the Talbot County Community Center ice rink and curling rink. The County Council of Talbot County reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept any bid, or portions thereof, when in their judgment, the public will be better served. The contractor shall provide all materials and labor to complete ice plant replacement located at the Talbot County Community Center, 10028 Ocean Gateway, Easton, Maryland. The ice plant replacement shall be a one hundred twenty (120) ton, Ammonia High-efficient refrigeration system with the following specifications: Two (2) high-efficient Mycom M compressors High-efficient direct five (5) motors with variable frequency drive Two (2) independent brine pumps on cooling floor Rustproof Sealed balance tanks Close approach low charge chiller for optimum power reduction Insulation on all cold surfaces Complete electrical control panel Complete computer control system to reflect new facility and refrigeration Complete safety, control and gauge package on compressor Ammonia leak detector Isolation valves, gauges and thermometers on all secondary loops Disconnect on all motors All motor and control wiring inside ofmachine Premium quality metal protection Connection to existing cold floor AND warm floor piping Complete machine room with lights, heat, ventilation and gas detection Start-up and balance system
