**As of February 23, 2022, project was awarded to JM Construction, awarded amount is $329,977.85.** The proposed Work consists of furnishing all labor, supervision, tools, materials, and equipment to complete the project scope as follows: The City is seeking proposals for the procurement of materials and construction of a new 69kV deadend structure, metering stand, and metering equipment for the relocation of their 69kV AEP interconnect at this substation, a new 20' double-swing gate in the substation fence, and the removal of an existing lighting mast. The following major equipment will be procured and installed by the contractor: structures, bussing and switches and three 69kV combination metering units. The contractor shall furnish all labor to install the contractor furnished equipment; and the contractor shall furnish and install all other material and labor to provide for a complete substation addition as listed in the specifications and as shown on the contract drawings. The AEP owned 69kV transmission line that currently serves the substation is being modified, which will include a new switch pole inside the substation fence to serve the substation at the new deadend structure. AEP will be responsible for this work, including supplying materials and labor for the tap from the AEP switch to the City's new 69kV deadend structure. Each bid shall contain the name of every person, firm or corporation interested in the same, and must be accompanied by either a bid guaranty bond to the satisfaction of the City, or a certified check drawn on a solvent bank, in the sum of 10% of the bid, made payable to the City of St. Clairsville, Ohio, as a guaranty that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured. 6. The City of St. Clairsville, Ohio, reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in bidding.
