The Owner will in no way be liable for any costs incurred by any bidder in the preparation of its Bid in response to this Invitation to Bid. The successful Bidder for this Contract will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of 100 percent of the Bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive informalities and to readvertise. The Project consists of the installation of a Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) liner into approximately 14,600 linear feet of 8-inch, 10-inch, and 12-inch sanitary sewer pipe; including lateral reinstatements using CIPP, Open Cut, and HDPE electrofuse couplings. As well as approximately 300 linear feet of pipe bursting existing 6-inch to 8-inch. There are several point repairs across 8-inch, 10-inch and 12-inch sanitary sewer pipes. Lastly, there is approximately 600 vertical feet of manhole lining with a polymer or epoxy-based liner and approximately 10 watertight manhole frame and cover installations. The scope of the project will include all bypass pumping, pipe preparation, pre-lining, and any necessary tools or equipment required to complete the jobs according to the specifications. The allotted time for construction is 180 calendar days for substantial completion, and 210 days for final completion.
