Site work for a road / highway in Johnson City, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. Bond shall be issued by a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Tennessee. This bond is required as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and the performance thereof duly secured by an approved performance bond. If the successful bidder fails to execute required contracts, the bid security will be forfeited. Bid bonds submitted by unsuccessful vendors will be returned upon award of the contract. In lieu of a bond, cashier's checks are acceptable, personal checks are not. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the bid price
