Reference number : 1541230 Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2021-11-24 Electronic submission accepted: Non The OMHM is issuing a public call for tenders for the repair of a lot of roofs (12 buildings) at Habitations Lenoir-Saint-Henri at multiple addresses in the Sud-Ouest borough. The project consists of carrying out all the works in accordance with the contractual documents. Without limitation, this project aims to: Repair of the waterproofing of the roofs of 12 buildings (multiple addresses); Slope correction by adding slope insulation on certain roofs (2 buildings); Replacement of the flashing, roof accessories, hatches and junction boxes (evacuation). Addition of base of antennas; Creation of access to the roof by adding access ladders on certain rear façades (5 buildings); Creation of access to the roof from certain stairwells by installing a hatch (5 buildings) Creation of access to the roof from the overhanging roof overhang for certain buildings by installing a hatch (2 buildings); Structural works In connection with the access works to the roof - wooden frame; Mechanical works Intervention on chimney barrels (boiler room) and evacuation pipes; Cleaning of dryer exhaust ducts from the roof; General coordination of work involving subcontracting (access ladder and others); Interior finishing work associated with the creation of access to the roof from stairwells. The work will be carried out in buildings of 12 multi-family type buildings with 2 to 9 dwellings built between 1972 and 1973. Each building has 2 to 3 floors. The structure of the buildings is of a wood frame and the exterior envelope is mainly made of brick. A passageway is present in all buildings allowing easy access to the roof except for buildings on St-Antoine Street West with a roof overhang at the back. Some buildings have an interior stairwell. Most roofs are made of gravel. The apartments will be occupied during the works. Special conditions : The contractor must allow access to the parking lot for tenants at all times. The contractor's work schedule must be planned so as not to provide for any exterior work in winter conditions that requires additional heating. If exterior work requiring heating is carried out, the heating costs will be the responsibility of the contractor. The contractor, in collaboration with the OMHM, must remove all the existing satellite dishes on the balconies and the roofs of the buildings and install them on the new support to be provided on the roof. The connection, wiring and orientation of these antennas, relocated on the roof, will be the responsibility of the tenants. All the obligations imposed on the project manager by the law on occupational health and safety and the related regulations will remain the sole responsibility of the contractor throughout the duration of the site. The contractor accepts all of the duties and obligations of the project manager at all times until the contract is fully executed. The contractor is responsible for protecting all finishes and materials that are retained. The contractor will pay all utility cutting and fitting costs and all paving repair costs. The contractor will assume all costs of renting sidewalks, public roads and any other service necessary for his work and the installation of the site. He will make all necessary protections, signals and other preventive measures. The contractor must implement the appropriate and necessary means to avoid any damage (of a physical or chemical nature) in any way whatsoever to the trees, their tops and the roots to be protected and preserved. All these protections will be included in the cost of its submission. No claim can be made to this effect. The contractor must employ a superintendent whose presence is compulsory on the site at all times during the entire period of the work. The superintendent must have full authority to authorize the directives received without delay. Works duration This contract comes into force upon signature of the letter of commitment by the successful tenderer and the execution of the work shall not exceed sixteen (16) weeks. According to current planning, it is expected that this work will begin around March 2022 , but this date could be changed. In such a case, the modification cannot be used to justify an extra request from the contractor.
