Site work for a water / sewer project in Laurens, South Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work to be performed consists of furnishing all materials, tools and equipment and performing all labor necessary for the trenchless rehabilitation of existing gravity sewer lines by the Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) process, manhole rehabilitation and other improvements as outlined in the specifications and contract documents including: Base Bid: Rehabilitation of approximately 2,865 LF of 8" sewer, 578 LF of 18" sewer, 315 LF of 21" sewers, 255 LF of 24" sewer. Bid Alternates: Rehabilitation of approximately 3,310 LF of 8" sewer. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check, or a bid bond of a reputable bonding company authorized to do business in the State of South Carolina, in an amount equal to at least ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. The bid bond shall be prepared on the form of the bid bond attached to the Contract Documents or a surety company's standard bid bond, duly executed by the Bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company licensed to do business in the State of South Carolina. No submitted bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids and to waive informalities.
