Renovation of a military facility in Laurens, South Carolina. Design plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
As of November 1, 2022, an architect has been selected. Construction is estimated to begin in September 2023. A/E Services for major renovations to 2 National Guard Readiness Centers located in Laurens and Union. Renovations to include roof replacement, HVAC upgrades, window and door replacement, flooring and carpet replacement, bathroom and kitchen improvements, painting of the interior and exterior walls, electrical system upgrades and plumbing system upgrades. Work will also include evaluation of existing parking areas for possible design and replacement and the septic tank/tile field. Familiarity with Dept. of Defense Requirements, Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
