Site work for a civil project in Laurens, South Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of October 10 2022 this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award is not yet established. Approximately 7,310 LF of 12 DIP waterline, 3 fire hydrants, 3 air valve assemblies, 19 water service connections, and associated work tasks. The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularities, or to reject any or all bids. Bids may be held by the Owner for a period not to exceed ninety(90) days from the date od the opening of bids. Construction Cost Range: $1,200,000 Funding for the project shall be provided via a grant from the S.C.Rural Infrastructure Authority (SCRIA),and local match funding provided by the Laurens County Water and Sewer Commisssion. The project generally consists of approximately 7,310 LF of 12" DIP waterline, 3 fire hydrant assemblies, 3 air release valve assemblies, 19 water service reconnections, and associated work tasks for a complete and proper installation. No bid will be considered unless the bidder is legally qualified under the provisions of the South Carolina Contractors Licensing Law(South Carolina Code of laws as amended on April 1, 1999, Chapter 11, Sections 40-11-10 through 40-11-428).Contractors shall have a classification of WL.
