Question Acceptance Deadline 11/29/2021 07:00 PM EST Questions are submitted online No - Insurance Required - Contractors License Required - Installation Required - FOB Destination All or None Award THE PROJECT INVOLVES ADDING A SECURITY GRILL DOOR TO AN EXISTING HALLWAY ON LEVEL 1 & 2 AT THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD MUNICIPALITY BUILDING. THE SCOPE INCLUDES MODIFYING THE EXISTING WALLS TO ACCOMODATE NEW DOOR HARDWARE, MODIFYING CEILING SOFFITS WHERE NECESSARY. THE HVAC SYSTEMS WILL BE MODIFIED AT A SINGLE DIFFUSER AND EXIT SIGNS WILL BE ADDED TO MEET SAFETY STANDARDS. NO PLUMBING OR STRUCTURAL SCOPE IS INCLUDED. The City of Lakewood is re-bidding Security Roll Down Grills Project, that was put on hold due to Covid-19 and Cares Act Deadlines, last year. One grill was deleted from the project on the second floor, as it was deemed unnecessary, and the second floor security double doors were relocated. The plans have been updated and are a part of this bid. The plans have passed West Metro Fire Review, and have been approved by our Building Department. The purpose of the project is: The security grill on the main floor and the security double doors on the second floor will allow public meetings in the council chambers, after-hours, prohibiting access by the public to unauthorized areas of the building
