Site work and paving for a civil project in Herndon, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The reconstruction and widening of the existing signalized intersection to incorporate additional turn lanes as well as improvements of the existing storm drainage and pedestrian facilities located along Herndon Parkway and Van Buren Street. The existing traffic signals are to be removed and new, fully operational traffic signals are to be furnished and installed at the intersection of Herndon Parkway and Van Buren Street. This project is a Federally Funded project with a Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) goal established as eleven percent (11%) for the project. Project No. 0606-335, R201, C501 (UPC 89889), D-15-01-A The VDOT Title VI Evaluation Form and Form C-111 (Found in Section F) shall be submitted (forms located in Section B). The contractor shall comply with the Federal Regulations that govern this project. The contractor shall be VDOT Pre-Qualified. The contractor is required to submit Federal forms when pay applications are submitted to the Town of Herndon. This is a lump sum contract. Contract length is 251 calendar days to date of Substantial Completion.
