This project has been awarded to D & G Backhoe, Inc. in the amount of $813,867. WO # 100055465, WO # 100050914 PFN 21110332 This project consists of the installation of a pressure reducing station and intertie connection to the Kayak Water System, installation of approximately 2,350 linear feet of eight-inch ductile iron water main and associated fittings, 1,930 linear feet of six-inch ductile iron water main and associated fittings, new fire hydrant assemblies and appurtenances and combination air vacuum release assemblies and blow-off assemblies. The project also includes installation of water services, asphalt trench patching, asphalt restoration overlay, private asphalt, concrete and gravel driveway removal and restoration, erosion control and landscape/surface restoration. . The location of the work is on 172nd St. NW and 176th St. NW, near the City of Stanwood, in Snohomish County, Washington The primary purpose of the proposed project is to replace aging water system infrastructure, create water main looping, an emergency water system intertie and redundant supply. Construction shall be performed while maintaining service to the existing water system. All work performed on the project will be subject to Davis-Bacon/Prevailing Wage requirements and will be subject to the higher of the prevailing state or federal wage rates. All Drinking Water State Revolving Fund requirements or provisions must be met by general contractors and all subcontractors. All contractors are required to be licensed to conduct business in Washington State.
