This project consists of installing approximately 4,734 linear feet of eight-inch ductile iron water main and associated fittings through open-cut trench, and 177 linear feet of 8-inch ductile iron water main through pipe jacking; and 6 new fire hydrant assemblies and appurtenances. The project also includes installation of 54 water services; asphalt trench patching; asphalt restoration overlay; private asphalt, concrete, and gravel driveway removal and restoration; driveway culvert removal and replacement; tree removal; erosion control and landscape/surface restoration. The primary purpose of the proposed project is to replace aging and undersized water system infrastructure. Construction shall be performed while maintaining service to the existing water system. The location of the work is on Clarence Avenue, between 172nd St. NW and the dead end to the north and from 184th St. NW and 96th Dr. NW, near the City of Stanwood, in Snohomish County, Washington.
