Bids are to be submitted only in the form provided in the Project Manual, and all bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, payable to the "City of Stanwood" of value not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. Installation of a gravity sewer to bypass existing Church Creek Sewer Lift Station. Work consists of Sewer Manholes, 12" PVC sewer pipe, tie into existing sewer at the upper and lower locations with associated park and school landscape restoration, existing park road and parking pavement overlay, dewatering, traffic control and erosion control. All work shall be physically complete within 40 working days of receiving a Notice to Proceed. Time extensions may be granted for rainfall days that prevent work that is already in progress. The City of Stanwood reserves the right to accept a proposal of the lowest responsible bidder, reject any or all bids, and to waive irregularities in the bid or in the bidding.
