The Independent Contractor shall perform and render the following services to provide installation of Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP) Carpet Tile and replace the cover base during the Contracted Period of Maintenance (CPM) excluding holidays. Work should include, but shall not be limited to, the following: 1. Removing all carpet in specified areas: Security Station, Admin I Administration, Unit I Teacher's lounge, and Training Annex 2. Installing carpet tiles in all areas mentioned above 3. Installing cover base in all areas mentioned above 4. Storing furniture during this project 5. Removing and replacing furniture back onto the new flooring 6. Removing and disposing of existing flooring material 7. Work shall be performed during normal business hours, Monday - Friday from 8am - 5pm CT upon approved schedule by the Director of Youth Services or Designee. 8. Contractor shall provide all required labor, material, permits, plans, engineering, local and state inspections to provide a 100% completed project. 9. Contract shall perform all work in accordance with all applicable codes, local ordinances, and requirements of State of Mississippi (Hinds County). 10. Services will be coordinated and monitored by OYDC's Director of Facilities and/or designated staff.
