Renovation of an educational facility in Forest, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Individual contractors may request drawings by emailing Karen Patterson directly. The Forest Middle School Roof Recovering and HVAC System Replacement project generally consists of the demolition and replacement of the existing HVAC systems and roofing for the building(s). The project also includes limited electrical upgrades as necessary to accommodate the new mechanical equipment. The mechanical upgrades include the replacement of 6 Rooftop Units and their VAV terminal boxes, new heating water system with new propane boilers and new pumps, new HVAC for Library Reading Room, and upgraded BAS Control System. The roofing replacement includes the removal and disposal of existing ballast stone, demolition of existing roof membrane and associated edge metal, selective demolition and replacement of wet/damaged insulation, installation of new recovery board, installation of new adhered single ply roof membrane and associated edge metal. The deadline for submitting questions is Friday, November 19, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. Bid Security: Bids shall be accompanied by a cashier's check or an acceptable bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the base bid.
