Renovation of an educational facility in Montreal, Quebec. Working plans call for the renovation of a 30,250-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility.
Upgrades, repairs and improvements to the University facilities located at 680-688 Sherbrooke West Street on the Montreal Downtown Campus. The scope of the project includes redevelopment of part of the building ground floor to house the Customer Service Department of the School of Continuing Studies. The new design will transform the lobby into a focal point for students to meet, move around and spend time in a welcoming environment. In addition, some sections of the immediate levels of the ground floor (mezzanine on the ground floor and lower underground gallery) will also be fitted out to offer a complete spatial experience. TIMELINE: Preliminary planning is underway. Working drawings are expected to begin in mid-/late spring 2023. Timelines for a tender and construction are not finalized pending the owner's decision to proceed.
