Site work for a water / sewer project in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of the renewal of the Balfour Avenue watermain from Osborne Street to Fisher Street, the renewal of the Clare Avenue watermain from Casey Street to Eccles Street, the renewal of the Fisher Street watermain from Balfour Avenue to Clare Avenue, and the installation of a new watermain on Casey Street from Baltimore Road to Clare Avenue. The major components of the Work are as follows: (a) Installation of approximately 1,680 meters of 150mm to 200mm diameter PVC watermain by trenchless methods; (b) Abandonment or removal of existing watermains, hydrants and gate valves; (c) Installation of gate valves and hydrant assemblies; (d) Reconnection or renewal of water services connections; and (e) Restoration of pavement and boulevard areas.
