Renovation of an educational facility in Oreana, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
WORK consists generally of replacement of existing heating, ventilating and air conditioning equipment in the 2004 addition at Oreana Elementary School. Bids will be received for completion of entire pro-ject under a single prime contract. Commencement of the work on the project shall be subject to the discretion of the Board of Education, ARGENTA OREA- NA CUSD #1, ARGENTA, ILLINOIS. The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularities and to accept any or reject all bids when in the opinion of the Owner, such action will serve the best interest of the Owner. The Owner anticipates a letter of intent to award the contract on Tuesday, December 14, 2021. Bids on all work on the contract shall be subject to the provisions of the "Illinois Prevailing Wage Act" (820 ILCS 130). Correspondence shall be directed to Midwest Engineering Professionals Inc., 607 S. Main St., Morton, Illinois 61550, (309) 266-1117, extension 4, Attention: Mr. Ryan Holmes. No bid shall be withdrawn for 60 days after opening of bids without consent of Owner. Addenda will be distributed to the plan holders on file at The Wassi Group. It is the bidder's responsibility to ensure receipt of all project addenda prior to bidding. CAD files will not be made available at any point.
