The work consists of hauling approximately 710 tons of seal coat aggregate to stockpile, pulverizing approximately 3,700 square yards of various Village streets, and seal coating approximately 53,000 square yards of various Village streets. There is anticipated to be 76 tons of bituminous materials and 710 tons of seal coat aggregate needed to complete the work. Proposals must be submitted on forms furnished by the Awarding Authority and enclosed in an envelope endorsed with the appropriate section number. Prequalification is required for the seal coating work, and if required, the two lowest bidders must file an "Affidavit of Availability" within 24 hours after the letting. Prequalification is not required for hauling seal coat aggregate. A proposal guaranty in the proper amount is required, and the successful bidder must deposit a contract bond or proposal guaranty upon execution of the contract. The Awarding Authority reserves the right to waive technicalities and reject any or all proposals.
