NY 2 (Congress and Ferry Streets) from the Congress Street Bridge Ramps to 11th Street Corridor Improvements The City of Troy is seeking proposals from firms on the 2019 - 2022 Region 1 NYSCHSA LDSA list for engineering and design of a Locally Administered Federal-Aid Transportation project in the City of Troy, Rensselaer County, New York. The NY Route 2 Corridor Project focuses on improving multimodal connections, primarily by reallocating roadway space on Congress and Ferry Streets and designing a complete streets environment. These improvements, as currently defined, consist of milling and filling Congress and Ferry, restriping (with a new striping plan), replacing approximately 50% of sidewalks, replacement of curb, installation of ADA compliant ramps, curb extensions, bike lanes, high visibility crosswalks, pedestrian countdown timers, andm retiming traffic controls. A construction budget of $3.467M; it is anticipated construction programming would remain in FFY 2023 with a construction budget in excess of $10M.
