The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) is accepting bids for Bozeman Hill Ditch Cleaning. Work Is Required to Be Completed on or Before: November 15, 2022 Question Submission Close Date 11/29/2021 2:00 PM MST Route: I-90 East & West Bound Shoulder & Median Provide all labor, materials, equipment, traffic control and incidentals necessary to clean cut ditches parallel to I-90 eastbound & westbound between mile post 313.4 to 323.30. This includes hauling and stockpiling excess material to Bozeman Hill Stockpile at milepost 321.1 and if needed at the Livingston Stockpile site located at X-34139 milepost 0.3. MDT will define location at stockpile for material. Work includes hauling and stockpiling excess material, reshaping ditch to original grade and slope, brooming/cleaning roadway including dust control, Exact locations of work will be defined at pre-con meeting - or - MDT Maintenance Chief or designated MDT representative. These locations are subject to change as funding allows. Contractor shall be responsible for all private property damage claims resulting from performance of the tasks described above. All work shall be in accordance with the Department's book entitled "Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction", 2020 edition or as amended by current supplemental specifications. The Contractor shall not work on Saturdays, Sundays or legal holidays observed by the state unless specifically approved in writing by the Maintenance Chief. Requests must be made in writing and received by the Department's Project Manager by noon of the preceding Wednesday.
