BOROUGH OF VICTORY GARDENS UNIFORM BID SPECIFICATIONS SOLID WASTE AND RECYCLABLE MATERIALS COLLECTION SERVICE 1. INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS 1.1 THE BID The BOROUGH OF VICTORY GARDENS is soliciting bid proposals from solid waste collectors interested in providing solid waste collection and/or disposal services for a period of five years, to commence on APRIL 1, 2022 and ending on March 31, 2027, in accordance with the terms of these Bid Specifications and N.J.A.C. 7:26H-6 et seq. 1.2 CHANGES TO THE BID SPECIFICATIONS Notice of revisions or addends to advertisements or bid documents relating to bids will, no later than five days, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays excepted, prior to the date for acceptance of bids, be published in the DAILY RECORD and STAR LEDGER, newspapers of general circulation published in this state. 1.3 BID OPENING All bid proposals will be publicly opened and read by the Borough Clerk of the Borough of Victory Gardens, in the County of Morris, State of New Jersey, 337 South Salem Street, Victory Gardens, New Jersey at 6:00 P.M. on Tuesday, FEBRUARY 8, 2022. Bids must be delivered by hand or by mail to the Borough Clerk of the Borough of Victory Gardens no later than 4:00 P.M. on Tuesday, FEBRUARY 8, 2022. All bid proposals will be date and time stamped upon receipt. Bidder is solely responsible for the timely delivery of the bid proposal and no bids will be accepted after 4:00 P.M. on Tuesday, FEBRUARY 8, 2022.
