Renovation of a residential development in Scotch Plains, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
Roll in Shower Project The project scope is as follows: Convert an existing tub in one residential unit into a Roll in Shower. The work will consist of the following components: 1. Remove existing tub in one residential unit and reframe rough opening as required for a new acrylic Roll in Shower unit. Provide blocking in wall where indicated by the shower stall manufacturer and modify existing plumbing as needed to tie in new drain and ant-scald diverter. 2. Obtain permits and inspections as needed from the local building department (Owner will reimburse Contractor for any fees). 3. Upon aware of a contract, the Contractor shall prepare detailed shop drawings as required to show how the new shower unit will be installed and the plumbing modified in accordance with the plans. This is a HUD funded project. Prevailing wage rates apply. Respondents are required to comply with all Affirmative Action requirements. Contractors must be a Registered Public Works Contractor with the State of New Jersey.
