In general, work consists of the demolition of two existing wood-framed buildings and appurtenances, asphalt, chain-link fencing and concrete as well as the removal of landscape items. There will be a Hazardous Material mitigation component as noted in the attached Haz-Mat Reports. Construction will consist of a wood and/or steel framed two-story building, parking canopies, solar panels, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and communications systems, a fiber optic system that connects to City Hall across the street, off-site improvements as noted on the plans, stormwater compliance, landscaping, and fire apparatus bays.
