Site work and paving for a road / highway in Omaha, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The work to be performed in this improvement shall consist of the removal of the existing pavement and replacement of Portland Cement Concrete pavement of varying widths with a minimum thickness of seven inches for large areas and nine inches for small areas, together with integral curb and gutter, necessary removals, subgrade preparation, and necessary appurtenances for completed improvement. All of the improvements are to be located in dedicated public right-of-way or dedicated public easements. The successful bidder shall cooperate with the engineer in scheduling his work, and he shall submit his work schedule to the engineer for approval before commencing work. The contract's intent is to provide for the construction and completion in every detail of the work described. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, supplies, and all incidentals required to complete the work in accordance with the Contract Documents. The Engineer will provide the Contractor one (1) complete copy of the Contract Documents. The Contractor shall have this complete copy available on the work site at all times. The Engineer will provide six (6) copies of all plans, specifications, and addenda at no cost to the Contractor. The Engineer may furnish additional copies for a fee.
