Notice is hereby given that the City of Slidell, LA is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from highly qualified architectural/engineering services to design upgrades to Possum Hollow Park to include new LED light poles throughout the park. Firms must have experience in this type of work. The work will include the planning, design, and preparation of construction documents for bidding, bidding services, and construction administration. This is a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) project; therefore, experience on other similar CDBG projects is a necessity. The firms should have familiarity with CDBG requirements for record keeping as relates to this type of work. It is the policy of the city to provide equal opportunity in its professional services contracts. The city encourages participation by Minority and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises firms. Interested parties should submit three hardcopies and one digital copy of their Statement of Qualification (SOQ) indicating their ability to do this type of work, including key personnel resumes and a listing of past and present related projects, with reference contacts Please use either the SF 330 or the SF255 form.
