Site work for a water / sewer project in Chester, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work under this Contract will consist generally of the following: The construction of approximately +- 28,000 LF of 6" C900 Class 150 PVC water main,, +- 56 3-way fire hydrant assemblies, +- 53 6" MJ DI gate valves with box, +- 90 long- side new metered service with meter set, +- 90 short-side new metered service with meter set, erosion control and all appurtenances necessary for a complete job. All work on the Project must be completed within 210 consecutive calendar days of date of notice to proceed. Bid shall be submitted on Bid Proposal Forms furnished for that purpose, in accordance with the Contract No bid will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City of Chester prior to the time set forth above, and accompanied by a Bidder's Bond, payable to the City of Chester, Georgia, for 10 percent of the amount of the bid; to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event that the bid be accepted and the bidder fail to enter promptly into a written contract and furnish the required Payment Bond and Performance Bond and Insurance Certificates.
