Provide costs to complete the work for Fields 2, 3, and 4 at Jumping Brook Ballfield Complex. Costs should include all labor and materials necessary to complete below bid items. Costs shall include mobilization, restoration and daily cleaning of the site. Contractor is required to have current liability insurance and provide certificate which names the Township of Neptune as an additional insured. Contractor is required to hold a current NJ Business Registration and Public Works Certificate for the State of New Jersey. The plans, specifications and other contract documents for the proposed work, prepared by Neptune Township Department of Engineering, 2201 Heck Avenue, Neptune, NJ 07753. Said documents may be examined at the office of the Township Engineer (2201 Heck Avenue, 1st Floor, Neptune, NJ) during normal business hours, 8:00am to 4:00pm. Bids must be made on the standard proposal form in a manner designated therein and required by the specifications. They shall be enclosed in an opaque sealed envelope addressed to the Engineering Department Township of Neptune, bearing on the outside the name of the bidder, his address and the name of the contract for which the bid is submitted. Upon failure to do so, he shall forfeit the deposit as a partial satisfaction of liquidated damages and the acceptance of the bid will be contingent upon fulfillment of this requirement by the bidder. The checks of all bidders will be returned according to law. No interest shall be allowed upon any such check. Bidders are required to comply with all applicable Laws and Regulations including P.L. 1975, C.127 (Affirmative Action) P.L. 1999, C.238 (Public Works Contractor Registration). The Contract shall be awarded, or all bids rejected, within sixty days from the receipt of bids within such extensions of time as permitted by law. Proposals are being solicited through a fair and open process in accordance with NJSA 19:44A-20.2, et seq., and as such, contractors are exempt from the limitations on making political contributions under that law. Further, for that reason, as well as because of a language in the New Jersey's Annual Appropriations Act, refusal to disclose campaign contributions otherwise required by NJSA 19:44A-20.2 et seq. and 19:44A-20.25 et seq., will not adversely affect your consideration for award. The project is being funded with Federal Funding which will be administered by NJDOT (New Jersey Department of Transportation).
