This construction project includes the expansion of the Temple-Belton Wastewater Treatment Plant (TBWWTP) including headworks modifications, six million gallons per day (MGD) biological treatment/clarifiers, and 40 MGD disc filters/UV/metering/post-aeration improvements. Proposers must submit a 5% bid bond with their proposal payable to the City of Temple and City of Belton. Proposers are encouraged to use the attached bid bond form for this purpose. The Cities may reject proposals which include bid bonds submitted on something other than the provided form if it is determined in joint discretion that the bid bond does not provide the same level of protection as the attached bid bond form provides. The engineer’s estimate of probable construction cost associated with this project is $68,260,500.
