Zoo Big Cat Exhibit Expansion Project Any bid received after the presiding official declares the time for submitting bids closed will not be considered. Due to the COVD-19 Pandemic, if City Hall is closed to the public, vendors must call the Park Office at 219-873-1506 to make arrangement to deliver a quote and/or to determine where the Park Board meeting will be held. Bids will be opened and reviewed, and the award(s) may be made at that or a subsequent meeting of the Michigan City Park Board. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid. The Michigan City Park Board reserves the right to waive any informality and to accept or reject any or all bids submitted. Board shall award bid to the lowest and most responsive bidder. Bids may be held by the Michigan City Park Board for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of the Bidders prior to awarding contracts.
