The City of Janesville, Wisconsin hereby gives notice that it will receive electronic bids for the following listed Public Work: C2021-17 Landfill Gas Treatment & Control System Improvements - For furnishing all the labor, materials, equipment, and doing all the work necessary for modification of the landfill gas treat- ment and control system to include: installation of gas valves, installation of landfill gas knockout pot, installation of straw drain, installation of associated piping and appurtenances for knockout pot, installation of new flow meter, and incidentals shown on the plans and specified herein for Landfill Gas Treatment and Control System construction. All bidders shall bid in accordance with contract document's Section 2 'Information to Bidders'. The above Public Work will be let to the lowest responsible bidder and must be performed in accordance with the plans, specifications, and contracts on file with the City Clerk. The determination of the lowest responsible and best bid will be decided by the City Engineer, subject to review by the City Council. The Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids. the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and performance bond within ten days from the date the lowest responsible bidder's bid is accepted. In case the bidder fails to execute such contract and performance bond within the time set by the City, the check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages. If applicable, Federal Davis Bacon wage rates are included in the Contract Documents, as well as on file in the City Clerk's Office. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 45 days after the actual date of the bid opening, unless stated otherwise above.
