Description: The Village of Addison is seeking bids for an Audiovisual System Upgrade for our Boardroom and our Conference Room. All inquiries regarding these specifications shall be directed via e-mail to Dave Baker, dbaker@addison-il.org at the Village of Addison. These inquiries and/or responses shall be distributed to prospective proposers as clarification and/or addenda. Village of Addison is under no obligation to respond to all inquiries. Upgrades project This specification defines the minimum requirements for the equipment and associated items
for the audiovisual systems to be furnished and installed in the specified rooms.
B. The successful Audiovisual Contractor shall provide all equipment, materials, associated
hardware, labor, transportation and incidentals, and all work needed for the installation and
testing of the audiovisual systems.
C. It is the purpose of this specification to require the furnishing of the highest quality materials,
equipment and workmanship. The work shall be in accordance with this specification and in
conformity with the designs, layouts and descriptions shown on the drawings.
D. Any and all structural, mounting, or rigging details within this package is strictly conceptual. It
is the responsibility of the Audiovisual Contractor to employ the services of a structural engineer
as necessary. Calculations, shop drawings, and details of any structural modifications or
additions shall be submitted to the Owner for approval.
E. Unless stated otherwise on the drawings, the work shall include everything necessary or
incidental to complete the installation EXCEPT wire raceway (including conduit), raceway
fittings, outlet boxes, pull boxes, terminal cabinets, 120 volt AC power circuits, lighting systems,
and insulated ground cables. Such excluded equipment shall be furnished and installed by the
Owner. The Audiovisual Contractor shall furnish all necessary information to the Owner and the
Owner's contractors to insure that a proper audiovisual conduit system will be installed.
F. The Audiovisual Contractor shall cooperate with all other contractors engaged in this project
and shall coordinate the installation of the audiovisual systems so that all work will proceed in a
manner which is in the best interests of the Owner
