Bid Package 2022 Measure L Replacement of Ductless A/C Units in MDF Rooms Bids shall be valid for 60 calendar days after the bid opening date. The scope of work involves the procurement and installation of new Mitsubishi Slim Line 1.5 ton mini-split HVAC units at 5 different school locations; procure and install Mitsubishi wireless thermostat and wireless adapter kit; demolition and disposal of existing HVAC systems in their entirety, install new 20 gauge galvanized sheet metal panel at existing HVAC openings, repair and patch existing wall openings where existing HVAC units have been removed; repair and patch any other wall/ceiling penetrations resulting from exterior system removal. Scope of work shall include, but not be limited to, procurement and installation of Mitsubishi Slim Line HVAC units, high voltage and low voltage wiring, Mitsubishi wireless thermostat and wireless adapter kit, all necessary conduit and refrigerant lines with metal flashing at roof top penetrations, new electrical panel circuit breakers where required, high voltage heavy duty electrical disconnect switches, modifications or replacement of electrical circuit breakers and wiring, copper condensate lines and drywells, repair of all wall openings where existing HVAC units have been removed and disposed of, as well as any other penetrations that require repairs. Existing roofs are under manufacturer's warranty; contact roof manufacturers for specifications for roof penetration requirements.
