Notice is hereby given that the Lawndale Elementary School District of Los Angeles County, California, acting by and through its Board of Education, hereinafter referred to as the District, will receive up bids for District Office Flooring Project This is an informal bid under the district CUPCCAA program for bids under $200,000. Vendors bidding on this project must be part of the district CUPCCA vendor list before submitting bids. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any irregularities or informalities on any bid or bidding The General contractor is required to assure that all subcontractors meet all requirements and certifications of the specifications at the time of bid. All bids shall be made on bid forms furnished by the District It shall be mandatory upon the contractor to whom the contract is awarded, and upon any subcontractor under him, to pay not less than the general prevailing rate per diem wages in the locality in which this work is to be performed for each craft or type of workman needed to execute the contract based on a working day of eight (8) hours. The rate for holiday and overtime work shall be at time and one half. Certified Payroll will be required for this project. This job requires a B Contractors License Per SB 854 Public Works Contractor Registration Program, as of March 1, 2015 contractors must be registered with DIR in order to bid on public works projects. In Accordance with EC 17076.11, the District has a participation goal of 3 percent for DVBE for requirements. No bidder may withdraw the bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening bids.
