Demolition and site work for an educational facility in Indio, California. Completed plans call for the demolition of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.

As of January 26, 2022, the project has not been awarded yet. A timeline for award has not been established yet. Estimated cost range is $350,000 - $375,000. The Project consists of demolition and disposal of existing portables. Grading of the existing footprint of and around the portables to be demolished. Location- 83501 Dillon Ave. Indo, Ca 92201 Time for Completion- (90) days 1) Safe off all utilities to the portables. Utilities are not shown on any plan and will need to be field verified by the contractor. Contractor will cut and cap all irrigation main lines, lateral lines and remove all sprinklers within the footprint of demolition work. (2) Contractor will remove all electrical and low voltage systems wiring from the building and roll up inside the closest underground pull box or building box. (3) Protect in place existing backflow preventer identified as yellow box on plan sheet OAPD - 1 (4) Contractor is responsible to demolish all portable structures and any contents left inside the buildings. All contents CANNOT be reused or salvaged by the contractor. All items must be properly disposed of. (5) Contractor must comply with SCAQMD related to demolition activities and all dust control measures. (6) Remove and dispose of the chain link fencing between and around the portable units. Only the shaded portions of the drawings are to be taken into account. (7) Demolition of all playground area and benches, all concrete and asphalt. Leave a clean cut on the concrete and asphalt when it abuts the areas to remain. A legible photocopy of (i) bid bond by an admitted surety insurer on the form provided by the District (ii) a cashier's check or (iii) a certified check, drawn to the order of the Desert Sands Unified School District, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price, shall accompany the Bid Form and Proposal, as a guarantee that the Bidder will, within seven (7) calendar days after the date of the Notice of Award, enter into a contract with the District for the performance of the services as stipulated in the bid. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond if it is awarded the Contract for the Work. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any irregularity in any bid received. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
