Site work for a civil project in Fort Valley, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The Fort Valley Utility Commission will furnish all materials for this project, so please consider this as a request for a labor only bid. Time of completion for all work associated with this project shall be Sixty (60) consecutive calendar days from the date written on the Notice to Proceed. Bids will be considered only from experienced and Licensed contractor(s) engaged in work of this type and magnitude. There will be a bid opening in the Fort Valley Utility Commission Meeting Room located at 500 Anthoine St, Fort Valley Georgia, 31030 on December 22nd 2021 at 10:00 AM. The Fort Valley Utility Commission reserves the right to reject any and all bids in total, or in part, and/or waive defects in bids. Sealed bids must be addressed and submitted as follows: Fort Valley Utility Commission Electric Department Knoxville / Elberta St Pole Changeout and Reconductor Project Attention: Alvin Wallace PO Box 1529 Fort Valley, Georgia 31030 Upon successful bid notification, the contractor will be asked to provide proof of insurance and evidence of a 5% bond. Prior to execution of a contract, a Contract Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each equal to 100% of the contract amount Time of completion for all work associated with this project shall be Sixty (60) consecutive calendar days from the date written on the Notice to Proceed.
