As of February 14, 2023, a consultant was selected to provide a feasibility study and this project is in the planning and preliminary design phase. A firm timline for construction has not been determined. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The Town of West Hartford is requesting proposals from full service planning, design, and estimating architectural and/or engineering firms for a functional program development and facility feasibility study for a new Elmwood Community Center. Proposers must have, or be firms employing a person with, a current license and registration by the State of Connecticut as an architect or professional engineer, with a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the planning, design and construction of public buildings in Connecticut.
