SW1911 Indian Springs Culvert Improvements is a culvert replacement project on an arterial street (Jasper St.) in Broken Arrow, OK. The project is comprised of culvert replacement, full street reconstruction, utility replacement / relocation, turf reinforcement matting installation, and other erosion mitigation measures. The project will require the road to be closed during construction. The road closure shall be scheduled to take place in the summer 2022, after schools are not in session. Utility relocation and any other work that can be done, without closing the road, may be done before that time. The contract time will reflect the extended timeline of the project. The project can be constructed using either cast-in-place culvert or pre-cast culvert options. Bidder is to submit bids for both options. As a Proposal Guarantee, a certified check, cashiers check, bid bond or irrevocable letter of credit issued by an insured financial institution as required by law must accompany each Proposal for an amount equal to five percent (5%) ofthe total Bid made payable, without reserve, to the City ofBroken Arrow. The successful Bidder must, within ten (10) days after receiving notice of award, furnish a Performance Bond, Statutory Bond and Maintenance Bond in the forms prescribed by City ofBroken Arrow in the amounts equal to the Contract price.
