Site work for a water / sewer project in North Kingstown, Rhode Island. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Per the owner, as of July 31, 2024, two design-build teams have been selected. The owner states that the project is anticipated to be completed in early summer 2025. Closed solicitation has been included below for reference. ……………….. The Quonset Development Corporation (QDC) is seeking a qualified Consultant for the design, engineering, and permitting of a new Pier, breasting and mooring dolphins and pedestrian gangway at the QDC's Terminal 5 within the Port of Davisville. Consultant shall have experience designing new marine structures, including but not limited to driven piles, cast-in-place reinforced concrete, pre-cast reinforced concrete, fender systems, and cleats & bollards, for similar heavy-civil and marine projects. All questions on this RFP shall be submitted in writing to Ms. Christine Andrews at info@quonset.com by 4:00 PM on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 The Corporation reserves the right to reject any and all proposals received, to waive any informalities in the proposals received and to accept the proposal which in its sole judgment best serves the interests of the Corporation. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. The construction budget estimate at this time is in the range of $20 to $35 million. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
